MENTORING PLATFORM FOR YOUNG PHARMACISTS IN NIGERIA


The Nigerian Academy of Pharmacy has risen to meet a vital need for the benefit of young pharmacists in Nigeria by establishing a YOUNG PHARMACIST MENTORING PLATFORM.


This platform was launched recently in Nigeria to curb the menace of errors in careers found among young pharmacists by giving them early guidance (mentorship) in their chosen areas of specialization.

Kudos to the Nigerian Academy of Pharmacy, The Pharmacists' Council of Nigeria (PCN), the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria and all partners involved in this laudable initiative. Indeed it is a pilot initiative for other professions.

Tales abound to the injuries attributed to DRUG MISUSE AND ABUSE. We have lives, fertility and huge finance lost to septic abortion, for young and mature ladies who tried an abortion adventure with Misoprostol and D & C. There are countless tales of accidents, organ (liver & kidney) failures as well as detention at correction facilities (prison) attributable to abuse of controlled (hard) drugs.
